Hi, I'm Dale. This web site started a few years ago because friends were constantly asking me for print outs of Sanskrit texts which I had typed into my computer over the years. To save myself some work, I decided to put them up on the web. From there the whole thing just grew. Many people have given me encouragement and a few friends contributed texts. This is the result. Thanks everybody.
You might find it surprising to hear that I am not a Sanskrit scholar. I love the language and have studied the Vedic literature in great depth. I recite texts every day. I do it for the experience and to accelerate my growth to enlightenment. My knowledge of the the grammar is minimal. Making the Vedic literature available to other people brings me joy and satisfaction.
Education and Interests
I am 52. I received my BS in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University in 1975.
My interests include Sanskrit education, study of the Vedic literature, electronic digital
design, computer programming, teaching Transcendental Meditation, and I am a disciple of
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. These interests have taken me to many places:
India, Netherlands,
Switzerland, Italy, Great Britain, Canada, and many different locations in the US.
My favorite personality is Rishi Praskanva, seer from the Rig Veda, and my favorite text is
Yaska's Nirukta.

Career
My career is centered around a group of single men whom I live with at an ashram near Uttarkashi, India. They call themselves the Maharishi Thousand-Headed Purusha Program. They
spend many hours each day practicing the TM and TM-Sidhi programs. Their purpose is to
perfect themselves in enlightenment, and to purify the collective consciousness of the
world. It is a quiet life of dedication and service.
Support
The members of the Purusha Program support themselves by seeking sponsorship from their
friends and other well wishers. Many people are inspired by the work that Purusha does,
and they want to support them financially.
Here is a beautiful quote which illustrates this principle.
"Whosoever gives to someone who dedicates himself fully to the quest for enlightenment
receives the benefits of this man's acts and meditations without having to undergo the
tribulations associated with his life. Truly fortunate is one who supports the ascetic,
because he doesn't have to leave the comfort of his home to fully gain the advantage of
this man's tapas."

If you would like to make a tax-free contribution, here is the procedure. It will be very much appreciated.
